A letter from the USGs
Greetings fellow delegates. I am Farhan and it is my utmost pleasure to be the USG of General Assembly and Specialized Agency at VCMUN 2025.
I am currently a second year student in Pure and Applied Science. I joined VCMUN in the Winter 2024 semester and I have loved being here since then. My love for debate has been significant since I started MUN in 2018 in my home country of Bangladesh. I love debating about global issues and I am excited to see the delegates’ love and passion for debating as well.
Participating in MUNs have helped me develop my public speaking skills as well as my thinking skills drastically and I am looking forward to seeing the delegates unleash their true potential in our conference!

Dear delegates, Welcome to VcMUN x’s re-iriteration! My name is Ana Maria and I am incredibly happy and grateful to serve as the USG of Crisis for VCMUN 2025. I’m a first year liberal arts student. Ever since I joined the MUN circuit 4 years ago, my love for international politics and debate has exponentially grown. I hope VCMUN allows people to develop the same love for MUN (especially crisis)!

On another note, being on the organising side of a MUN conference has taught me the value of having truly creative backroom notes since the ones that truly end up sticking with staffers and winning awards aren’t the ones that see the Geneva convention as a checklist but rather the ones that mirror the delegate’s creativity, enthusiasm and showcase their ability to think to the spot. That is why I would like to encourage delegates to exercise caution while discussing certain sensitive topics not only in these committees, but during the entirety of their MUN career
