Kashmir Border Dispute

Specialized Agency (UNSC)

The relationship between India and Pakistan can be described as "strained" at best. One of the main factors contributing to this bitter rivalry between the two biggest countries of the Indian sub-continent is the Kashmir Border Dispute. Terrorists from the Pakistani side of the border have used the mountains to attack the Indian troops on the other side. Meanwhile, Pakistani citizens have not had access to a manageable supply of clean, running water, as India controls most of the water flow in the region. Delegates will have to explore all possible diplomatic options to bridge the gap between both countries.
